Progress tracked on my iPod. The running club guys started to pull away from me around 4 1/2 miles. It was like my 'tempo run' was their basic 'training run.' Man wish I could sustain the pace a few more miles...

Probably one of the best inspirations during a race is seeing people along the course sometimes with their dogs. I'll see another Jack Russell terrier and remember how much he just loves to run.
